Culinary Tours of Havana

sizzling beef platter at Havana's best Chinese Restaurant
There is a misconception about Cuban food that we at http://www.havanadiscoverytours.com/
feel a need to address. For years now I have heard Visitors to Cuba regale us with their fantastic time on the beach and the great open bar at the pool and the amazing People they met.
Often though when asked about the food there will be a pause and then an answer like "well you don't go to Cuba for the food".

That may be the case at some all inclusive resorts but in Havana it is a far different story.  Havana has some incredible restaurants with varied and imaginative cuisine.
The problem as always is how to find them.  It has taken me 8 trips to Havana to now be comfortable in saying that if I wanted I would never eat a bad meal.

Of course few if any Visitors to Havana want to spend 8 Visits testing new Restaurants, and that is where we come in.
At http://www.havanadiscoverytours.com/ we offer  personalised custom tour arrangements and a very popular one amongst our Clients is a Culinary Tour. Our Culinary Tour

Jalapeno Chicken at one of Havana's best Paladar

allows our Clients to experience a different high quality Restaurant every night of their visit if they so desire.

The best Flan in Havana

Some of our favorites are shown here. Few Visitors to Havana are aware of the thriving China Town that exists amongst the Colonial buildings of Havana Centro. Concentrated around a cobbled Pedestrian street some of our favorite dishes are available in China Town.
Havana also has a large selection of Paladar's these are unique to Cuba and basically are Private Restaurants usually in a converted House rather than a storefront setting.
Havana Paladars offer some incredible dining experiences from the Mexican dish pictured here to excellent steaks and some of the best Seafood you will ever eat.  And because of Cuba's Love for sugarcane a sweets desserts in Havana are often delightful. The Flan shown here is the best I have ever had. Of course the best way to experience these and many other restaurants in Havana is take a Culinary Tour from http://www.havanadiscoverytours.com/.

It will change your opinion of Cuban food forever.
